Author in Focus-Sundari Venkatraman

Romance novels are fairy tales for grown-ups. They are the comfort that can calm a tired soul; for someone who is a romantic at heart, they are the hope, the key that one needs to dream.

And feeding fodder to such drowsed in love souls are romance authors like Sundari Venkatraman—our author in focus for February’17! Because it is the month of romance, ain’t it now?!

Born in Kumbakonam in India, Sundari Venkatraman is an acclaimed romance author, who currently has 14 published titles to her name—every one of them having a strong dose of romance and passion. Her first published title was The Malhotra Bride that, coincidentally, was published in the February of 2014. Since then, Sundari has built for herself quite a repertoire of books, which includes 2 paperbacks and 12 e-books; her e-books have now been made available as paperbacks on Amazon USA and will be available on Amazon India soon.

All of her titles have been featured in the Top 100 Bestsellers list on Amazon India, USA, UK, Canada, and Australia (phew! That’s quite a list, isn’t it).

Right now, Sundari is on a publish-a-book-a-month spree since 2015, and is living up to this challenge quite successfully; her fans are eagerly on the lookout for the book of the month! February 2017 sees the release of the first book in her The Bansal Legacy series and the 15^th addition to her list, Simha International.

Sundari has been an avid romance reader and a lover of happily-ever-afters since forever. The romance writer in her was born when, after reading international romances, she started visualizing the same stories in a more local setting. When the stories became too much for her to contain in her head, pen met paper and the words started to flow; Sundari hasn’t looked back ever since.

Sundari is also a book reviewer, encouraging fellow authors in every possible way she can. Not to mention a marketing wizard, who owns the social media marketing ground! Sundari is also an avid blogger and pens her thoughts on her blog, Flaming Sun.
