Book Review: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie (Spoiler Free)
“There was something magical about an island- the mere word suggested fantasy. You lost touch with the world- an island was a world of its own. A world perhaps, from which you might never return.”
Agatha Christie is undoubtedly the best we have in the thriller/mystery genre. And Then There Were None is the author’s best selling book and after reading it, I had no doubt why.
The book is very slow in the first 50 pages but picks up its pace since then. You will just want and want to keep reading it. The murders are so deftly written that you can never figure out who the culprit would be.
You could rack your brains but you’d NEVER FIND OUT.
The epilogue, as Agatha herself says in the author’s note, was terribly important, both to the revelation and mystery. I can’t recommend this book enough. It was definitely a 5 star read after a long long time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
